
Announcement! The Lt. Governor's Office is coming to Pickaway Ross for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, May 6th, to unveil a new expansion project. Pickaway-Ross students will be dismissed from the career center early at 1:45 PM to accommodate the ceremony. Any student riding the Adena bus back to the Adena campus will report to the library until the end of the day. Congratulations Pickaway-Ross #ExpansionProject

The Adena HS Wind Ensemble will be performing at State Large Group Contest on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 6:00PM in Gahanna Lincoln High School’s Gymnasium! It has been eight years since the ensemble has qualified to perform at State Contest! The kids have worked hard for this opportunity and would greatly appreciate your support by coming to listen to them perform or by joining in the send-off for them this Friday at 3:15 pm. There will be an EMS escort from Adena Local Schools, through Frankfort and ending at the Shortstop. Supporters can stand along the street by the firehouse on Springfield Street and on the sidewalks down Main Street. Thank you for your support and encouragement for these students as they prepare to perform at State Contest!

Kayson finished working at a station and picked all the bowling pins up to put in the container. His actions kept his friends safe! Great job, Kayson!

Robyn came into the classroom, grabbed a sentence scramble worksheet that she saw others doing, and she completed it without being asked, independently and all correctly! Great job Robyn!

Sawyer was committed to SAFETY during our fire drill! Great job Sawyer!

Each day Kinlee comes with a positive, "can do" attitude. Even when a skill is challenging, she takes it in stride and perseveres until she finds the answer. She exemplifies what it means to be a COMMITTED PAX leader!

Tyler comes in every day ready to work. He is very focused on getting his work done and he always strives to do his best.

Adriana goes above and beyond to help others. She offers everyday to help clean up and get the classroom organized for the next group.

Jasper always comes ready to learn. He is a hard worker and always willing to help others. He is kind, respectful, and a great example of a PAX leader.

Corbin models PAX behavior in the lunch room. He always offers to help with lunch clean up and it is very much appreciated!


Allie is always willing to help others with anything. From helping another student with an assignment to asking the teacher if she needs help with anything.


Ember is always ready to learn. Her enthusiasm for learning bubbles over into the classroom. She is kind and helpful to all!


John followed all safety guidelines and rules during the fire alarm. Way to be safe John!


Hudson is very helpful in the classroom! He is first to ask what he can do to lend a hand and always shows patience and kindness to his classmates! Keep up the good work, Hudson!

Miss Bailey reports that Nora was very helpful teaching a new student the rules of the classroom, how to walk in the hallway, and what to do during center time. She has been a really big help in getting this student acclimated to school.

Mrs. Vickers reports that Joelle is such a great friend and student in the classroom. She is always very eager to help and spread positivity! Keep being a shining star Joelle!

Miss Clark reports that Lizzy consistently uses strategies and skills taught while at school and it is evident in how much she has grown this year. Keep up the hard work!

Mrs. Jones reports that Rowan always comes to school ready to learn. He participates in class and is a fantastic helper!
